Riverside County Health Department officials reported 21 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Menifee today, plus the first death from coronavirus in Menifee since May 25. No details have been released about the death reported today.
Menifee has now had a total of 451 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since reporting began in mid-March. Of that total, 178 have been reported in the last 13 days -- 39 percent of the city's four-month total.
This came on a day Riverside County recorded its biggest one-day increase yet: 1,377 confirmed cases -- with 18 new deaths.

Total individuals tested: 272,981 (increase of 4,368)
Total confirmed cases: 23,334 (increase of 1,377)
Total deaths: 533 (increase of 18)
Confirmed cases in Menifee: 451 (increase of 21)
Deaths in Menifee: 7 (increase of 1)
Hospitalized: 513 (increase of 7)
Number in ICU: 117 (decrease of 5)
Number recovered: 9,246 (increase of 174)
