Two people were arrested today after Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on a residence in Winchester, authorities said.
Deputies arrived at about 6 a.m. at a residence in the 28800 block of Leon Road, just south of Simpson Road and east of Menifee, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. Two suspects were detained and deputies searched the property, locating two stolen vehicles, two stolen trailers, a firearm, and a small amount of narcotics.
Charles McCutcheon, 32, and Angela Holt, 28, were taken into custody. McCutcheon is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of illicit narcotics. Holt faces felony charges of being in possession of a stolen vehicle and has an outstanding felony warrant for robbery and identity theft. Both are being housed at Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta with a June 29 court date scheduled.
