Whiskey takes time out to sunbathe before daily nap

It's interesting how submissions to our "Menifee in Pictures" contest seem to come in waves of different themes. For a while, it was 90 percent sunsets. Now we're seeing a majority of pet and wildlife photos. There are no plans to turn this into a Pet of the Day feature, but we can't ignore some of the cute shots we're receiving.

Here's a photo of Olivia Flores' German Shepherd Whiskey basking in the sun by the pool. Olivia says Whiskey does this every morning before going inside for a nap.

Olivia is now eligible for the Photo of the Month award.
