New Police Department provides contact information

Starting July 1, the new Menifee Police Department takes over law enforcement in the city. Here's information from Cpt. David Gutierrez on how to contact the department:

"If the community is experiencing an emergency, please call 911. All 911 calls from a landline or a cellphone within the City of Menifee will be routed to our dispatch center after midnight on July 1. Our police non-emergency number will be 951-677-4964.

The Police Department lobby hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our main office number will be 951-723-1500."

The police department headquarters is located at the site of the old City Hall, 29714 Haun Road in Menifee.
