News release from the Rotary Club:
Rotary Club of Menifee isn’t slowing down in presenting its annual, end-of-the-year Citizenship awards to one fifth grade boy and girl, as well as one eighth grade boy and girl, from participating elementary and middle schools in the Menifee Union and Romoland School Districts. The Club asked the staff of the schools to select students who show good citizenship by:
-- Telling the truth
-- Doing things that are fair to everyone
-- Making friends and getting along with others
-- Doing good things for others
These characteristics parallel the Rotarian “Four Way Test of the things we think, say, and do”.
Each student received a certificate and a medallion honoring them for their positive behavior in their school community. Awards were presented to:
