Menifee City Hall to reopen its doors for business on June 22

Menifee City Hall will reopen for in-person services on Monday. Here's the news release from the City of Menifee with details about extra safety precautions planned:

Menifee City Hall will reopen to the public on Monday, June 22, after closing in March to the public and operating as a virtual City Hall operations to help slow the spread of
the coronavirus (COVID-19).

City Hall will be available for walk-ins Monday-Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Friday, City Hall will continue to operate virtually from 8 amnm to 5 p.m. In order to “Skip the Line” and “save time,” appointments are strongly encouraged, and continuation of the City’s “Zero Stop Shop and Virtual Permit Center” is highly recommended to streamline customer service and processing of projects.

The City Hall lobby has been reconfigured to align with the Governor’s COVID-19 safety guidelines, which includes floor markings, maintaining social distancing, and limited seating capacity that can be easily sterilized, plexiglass at service counters, and general COVID-19 safety etiquette. Visitors are required to wear face coverings and to be prepared to check their temperature (zero touch) when entering City Hall, and answer a quick questionnaire on COVID symptoms as a way to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and employees.

The City of Menifee “Skip the Line” services (virtual City Hall) will continue to be available through the City’s website at cityofmenifee.us/612/Virtual-City-Hall-Permit-Center. Visitors looking to make an appointment, change an appointment or check wait times at City Hall are encouraged to download the QLess app from their mobile phone device app store.

Menifee, which has a population of 97,093, had 220 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and six
deaths from COVID-19 as of Wednesday, June 17. Riverside County has had 11,951 confirmed
cases, 399 deaths and 6,341 recoveries.
