Police are seeking information about a fatal traffic accident in which a vehicle crashed into a residence in a Menifee neighborhood on Friday.
Sheriff's deputies responded at 7:14 a.m. to a house near the intersection of Palm Breeze Lane and Desert Rose Lane, just northeast of Chambers Avenue and Murrieta Road, according to a news release. Officers determined that an unidentified male suffered a medical emergency while driving a 1998 Nissan truck, became incapacitated and collided into the residence.
The driver died in the accident. No one inside the residence was injured. The Menifee Traffic Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
No other details about the accident are being released, according to Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision and has not already been interviewed by police is asked to call Deputy Dominguez at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Perris Station, 951-210-1155.
