Local school districts have announced programs to provide free meals to students during school closures because of the coronavirus pandemic. One program is offering meals to anyone 18 or under, whether they are a student or not.
Perris Union High School District’s free meal program is available to everyone 18 and under. You do not have to be an enrolled student in PUHSD. Monday through Friday until April 3, lunches will be available at the following locations from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:
Paloma Valley High School
Heritage High School
Perris High School
Pinacate Middle School
Those who come to the school to pick up lunches will also be provided a sack breakfast for the next day.
Romoland School District will offer free breakfast for pickup from 8-9 a.m. and free lunch for pickup from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Romoland Elementary School and Ethan A. Chase Middle School. The program will last until April 3.
Menifee Union School District will offer free lunches for children 18 and under as long as one family member is enrolled in MUSD. Lunches may be picked up between 11 a.m. and noon Monday through Friday at the following locations:
Quail Valley Elementary
Freedom Crest Elementary
Ridgemoor Elementary
