First detailed COVID-19 list includes 8 cases in Menifee

The City of Menifee has eight confirmed cases of coronavirus as of this afternoon, according to a report released by the Riverside County Health Department.

This is the first COVID-19 report that breaks down cases by city, apparently in response to public demand for more detailed information. According to a map released here on the County Health Department website, most cities in the county have reported cases.

There have been 185 confirmed cases in Riverside County and eight deaths. None of the deaths were Menifee residents. Officials have said for days that the number of reported cases is expected to rise dramatically as more test results come in.
