The walls are going up in the early stages of construction for the Krikorian Theater in Menifee Town Center on Newport Road. The long-awaited theater include 12 screens, including the largest screen in California at 100 feet, and the complex will include a bowling alley, arcade and sports bar.

Just to the north of the theater site will be commercial space that will house a Sprouts market, Olive Garden restaurant and Dickey's Barbecue Pit.

City officials and the developer are hoping to have the theater open for the holiday season.
