A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night when struck by a vehicle in the Romoland community in Menifee, authorities said.
The incident was reported at 8:08 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 74 and Menifee Road, according to Sheriff's Deputy Robyn Flores. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police. DUI does not appear to be a factor.
The pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been identified.
