The Coroner's Office has released the identifies of four people killed in two separate traffic collisions on Saturday.
Eva Barro, 56, of Hemet and Jesus Giron Araiza, 23, of Mexico crashed head-on in a 1:04 a.m. accident on Winchester Road north of Scott Road, officials said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
A multiple-vehicle collision Friday night on Railroad Canyon Road west of Goetz Road resulted in the deaths of Tina Slatten, 58, and Benita Heyden, 57, both of Lake Elsinore. They were traveling westbound about 9:56 p.m. when a vehicle that was heading eastbound rear-ended another vehicle. One of those vehicles crossed the center divider and collided with the vehicle in which Slatten and Heyden were traveling.
Investigations of both incidents are continuing.
