The Heritage High Drama Department is presenting their Winter Black Box Play, "Blithe Spirit"!
Written by Noel Coward, this comedic British farce will leave you amazed and chuckling in your seats! It all begins when Charles and his wife Ruth invite an eccentric and erratic medium, Madame Arcati, over for seance. Charles' real motive is to use Madame Arcati as a subject for a book he is writing, but everything goes haywire when they accidentally summon the ghost of his seductive first wife, Elvira.
With only Charles being able to see her, Elvia causes mischief between him and Ruth, and plots to get Charles back to herself, no matter what it takes.
Mark Chavez, the Heritage High Drama publicist, says "The special thing about a Black Box play is that you are sitting inches away from the actors and the action, so it's a very unique experience that I think everyone should be a part of. Especially since this show is so fantastic because of the talented actors and amazing special effects."
"Blithe Spirit" is only showing on Jan. 24-25 at 7 p.m. The Heritage High Theatre is located at 26001 Briggs Road, Menifee. Tickets will be $10 at the door, and there is limited seating, so buy a ticket as soon as you can.
