Jon Efe wins Photo of Month award with lakeside sunset shot

Congratulations to Jon Efe, whose photo looking across Menifee Lakes at sunset was selected as the Photo of the Month in our "Menifee in Pictures" contest.

Jon's photo was selected not only for its iconic image of one of Menifee's lakes, but also for the composition of the photo. Jon shot through some tree branches and shrubs to give the photo some depth and frame the lake and sunset beautifully.

Jon and his wife recently moved to Menifee with their 12-week-old baby. He has won a $25 gift card to Giovanni's Pizza, Pasta & More. His photo will be posted as the cover shot on our Facebook page all this month.
