Donations sought to replace items stolen from SWAG

Individuals and community groups are being asked to make donations to the Social Workers Action Group (SWAG) to replace an entire storehouse of items stolen from its Lake Elsinore facility Monday morning.

In a post on its Facebook page, SWAG reported that its office was burglarized at 3:42 a.m. Monday. All the Christmas donations that had been collected to help the less fortunate were stolen, including food, gift cards, medical supplies, hygiene and undergarments and personal items. SWAG works tirelessly in local communities, including Menifee, to help those in need and assist the homeless in finding living arrangements.

Monetary donations may be made at this link to help SWAG continue its effort of helping others. Unwrapped toys may be dropped off at Kay Ceniceros Center, 2995 Evans Road in Menifee.
