Authorities, family members and residents continue to search for an 81-year-old man who has been missing from his Canyon Hills home in Lake Elsinore since Thursday morning.
There are reports that Manuel Soto, 81, may have been seen in Menifee around 1 p.m. and in Murrieta around 3 p.m. on Thursday, according to a neighbor, but he still has not been located. A police helicopter flying over west Menifee on Thursday broadcast details about the search.
Soto lives with his wife and granddaughter on Yarrow Court in Canyon Hills, a neighbor told Menifee 24/7. This is the second time in a year he’s gone missing but the last time was for only a short period of time.
