The public is invited to the Menifee City Council meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m. to witness the issuing of the Oath of Office and badge pinning ceremony for the new Menifee Police Department's inaugural staff: Police Chief Pat Walsh and Police Captains David Gutierrez and Christopher Karrer. The Menifee PD staff is being assembled in preparation for a July 1, 2020 takeover in service from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
