Shella Foundation donates $3,000 to Interfaith Council

Susana Gonzales, executive director of Shella Foundation, presented a check for $3,000 to the Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council on Tuesday to support the free Thanksgiving Dinner the council sponsors each November. Council chair Gloria Sanchez accepted the check. Also pictured is Phil Liso, a board member with Shella Foundation.

Shella Foundation provides in-home care for seniors and is based in Menifee. They also provide residential cleaning services and financial assistance to those in need.

The Menifee Interfaith and Commnity Service Council brings together people of various faiths "as one collective multicultural spiritual voice to foster and encourage mutual understanding, peace, respect, values, compassion, service and benevolence in our community," according to its website. It will sponsor and support many events in the coming months.
