Sun City Gardens holds annual Hawaiian Luau

The Sun City Gardens Retirement Community in Menifee held one of its biggest events of the year Thursday, its Hawaiian Luau.

About 200 residents and family members enjoyed a meal of salmon, chicken, lobster and other dishes while entertained by Hawaiian music. Wearing traditional Hawaiian leis, the guests enjoyed the festive meal, then moved outside to watch a performance by Polynesian dancers.

Sun City Gardens is located at 28500 Bradley Road. It was recently honored in the Riverside Press-Enterprise's "Best in the Inland Empire" awards as one of the best senior community facilities in Southwest Riverside County.
