Audie Murphy Skate Park will host a free event on Saturday for scooter enthusiasts. The park will be open for free scooter use from 9 a.m. to noon. Riders of all ages are invited but must wear a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Professional scooter rider Chandler Dunn, a 2012 Paloma Valley High School graduate who rides with Madd Gear, will give a demonstration. There will also be a raffle for scooter gear.
