Police seek information on fatal shooting in Menifee

Police have released few details and are asking for the public's help regarding a fatal shooting Saturday night in a Menifee Neighborhood.

The victim, who was not identified, was found with serious injuries by Sheriff's deputies responding to the report of a shooting about 9:50 p.m. in the 29000 block of Light Sails Court, according to Deputy Mike Vasquez. The adult male was transported to a local hospital but died of his injuries.

There is no suspect in custody and no details regarding the investigation are being released at this time, Vasquez said. Officers canvassed the neighborhood Saturday night and have spoken to several people in the area but are seeking additional information.
