Children working together against all odds

Patti Hatch liked the artistic look of this photo in black and white when she sent it to us. Granted, its appeal is rather unique.

Patti says this tree in Spirit Park snapped in the wind on Tuesday, and when kids in the park noticed, they decided they would try to "fix" it.

"My granddaughter was one of the children trying to fix the tree," Patti said. "They were inspecting the fallen tree when one of the young men announced to the group, 'Lets push it back up.' So they tried with all their might. It's nice to see unique little people that had been disagreeing about who was gonna be 'it' when playing tag, then they discovered the tree."
