MSJC hosts events in Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Mt. San Jacinto College is hosting two events this week.

Denim Day and the Clothesline Project will be sponsored by the MSJC Diversity Committee on both the Menifee and San Jacinto campuses from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear denim and paint a T-shirt with a message supporting sexual assault survivors.

A Sexual Assault Awareness Rally and Take Back the Night Vigil will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday on the Menifee Valley campus. Speakers will share their stories and an open microphone will be provided for others to share. After that event in room 927, a candlelight vigil and campus walk will be held.
