First City tech, business mixer set for March 19

The City of Menifee’s Economic Development Department is excited to announce a new technology and business mixer, Menifee Matrix, in partnership with BenBenMedia.

The once a month tech-meetup, held every third Tuesday of the month, will be focused on showcasing newly created startups, entrepreneurs, and businesses in the early stages of business development, that is focused on technology and innovation. The next meet-up is March 19 at 5 p.m. at Merna’s Café Mediterranean Grill, 26850 Cherry Hills Blvd., with appetizers and a cash bar, thanks to sponsorships.

Businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs from any industry will have the opportunity to present their business idea or newly created business, and receive valuable insight, feedback, and advice from attendees and the business community. In addition to providing feedback, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs, start-up and business owners during the networking portion of the event.

There are no geographical or industry restrictions. Businesses from any industry or city/region are welcome to attend, contribute and network.

“This is all about businesses supporting businesses, and building-up our tech community,” said Menifee Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez. “We are in job creation mode as a City, and we are always looking for partners to encourage job growth, and meaningful relationships for our businesses.”

Entrepreneurs, start-ups or businesses interested in attending are able to register and review event information at www.menifeematrix.com, but no RSVPs are necessary. In addition, information will also be distributed on social media using the hashtag #MenifeeMatrix.
