The public is invited to a Celebration of Life in memory of former Menifee resident Reuben A. Falco, who passed away Jan. 30 at age 40 in Idaho.
Reuben was born Oct. 17, 1978. He was raised in Winchester and Menifee. He began helping out in his father Tony's business at the age of 7. In 2005, he started a new business, Menifee Plumbing, with his father and two brothers.
Reuben is remembered by family, friends and his customers as someone who was trustworthy, polite and respectful.
"He was the type of guy you could trust with your life," Tony Falco said. "He was always outgoing and positive."
Among Reuben's favorite hobbies were motorcycles, off-roading and visits to the river. He also took his career seriously. Reuben started his own business in 2009, and in 2014, he moved to Idaho and started another plumbing business there.
Reuben is survived by his parents, Tony and Rosa Falco; brothers Anthony and Michael Falco; sister Allycia Falco; and his biological mother, Rita Files.
The Celebration of Life will take place from 1-7 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the Four Seasons Lodge, 29750 Willows Ave. in Murrieta. Alcohol is not permitted at the facility.
Family and close friends are invited to a private service at 10 a.m. that day. Flowers may be delivered at that time to Miller-Jones Mortuary. The Falco family welcomes the gift of flowers at the Celebration of Life as well but is not seeking any financial assistance and warns others not to be fooled by scammers. There are no GoFundMe pages associated with this family.
