City announces Scott Road closures March 4-8

Here's the Scott Road Interchange construction schedule for next week, from the City of Menifee:

Traffic Alert: Nighttime closures on Scott Road, ramps and I-215 freeway closures

The Scott Road bridge on- and off-ramps are scheduled to be closed Monday-Friday, March 4-8. Local traffic must use Newport Road to exit and enter I-215.

Alternating nighttime northbound and southbound I-215 lane closures on Interstate 215 are planned for March 4-8. Affected traffic will exit at Scott Road, travel up and over the freeway on the bridge, then re-enter the freeway. Exiting vehicles may turn right (only) onto Scott Road; Scott Road will be closed to through traffic.

I-215 freeway lanes will be closed so crews can work on building the falsework for the new six-lane Scott Road bridge overpass.

Mon. - Thurs. March, 4-7
8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Fri., March 8 at 11:45 p.m. to Sat., 9 a.m.

Scott Road Interchange and freeway nighttime closures include:
Scott Road overpass bridge closed to through traffic all week.
On and off-ramps closed to local traffic all week.
I-215 lanes closed, alternating nights. Southbound lane closures are planned for Monday and Tuesday, possibly Wednesday. Northbound closures are planned for possibly Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday.
