No Scott Road freeway closures during the holidays

Construction will focus on perimeter areas and there will be no freeway lane, ramp or bridge closures regarding the Scott Road Interchange project during the holidays, the City of Menifee announced.

During the period of Dec. 24 through Jan. 6, crews will work during daytime hours only on drainage systems, bridge columns and a retaining wall near the northbound on-ramp. The retaining wall (left) will rise to levels from 4 to 20 feet next to the on-ramp.

At the same time, construction is ongoing on a drainage system (below) that will serve the area.
