Menifee frozen yogurt shop in Marketplace burglarized

Sheriff's Department officials are urging local business owners to take all necessary steps to secure their property following a recent commercial burglary.

Deputies responded on Dec. 8 to a business in the Countryside Marketplace regarding a burglary in the late evening hours of the night before, according to Deputy Robyn Flores. They discovered that forced entry was made to the front of the business and unknown items were taken. There is no information about the suspects.

The owner of the business told Menifee 24/7 the business burglarized was Whimsical Yogurt.

In a news release, the Sheriff's Department encouraged business owners to invest in additional safety measures such as security cameras and ensure there is adequate lighting.
