The Elizabeth Hospice and Sun City Gardens officiated a veterans pinning ceremony Tuesday to recognize and thank 51 veterans who reside at the retirement facility. Roger Reed, United States Marine Corps Retired from VFW Post 4089, Temecula, was the guest speaker at the event to honor retired military heading into Veterans Day.
The Elizabeth Hospice, a nonprofit healthcare leader, provides comfort and counsel to children and adults who are grieving, facing challenges for feeling alone.
