Get your Wizard of Oz costumes ready for Eat 'N Sing festival

OK, so you don't have to dress up like a Wizard of Oz character for Saturday's Menifee Eat 'N Sing Food Truck Festival, but why would you not want to? Besides, you might be called up on stage for a photo, or even win a prize!

As you have heard so many times before, this fun event at La Ladera Park will include awesome food trucks, a fun Kids Zone and musical entertainment by local groups. But the overall theme is the Wizard of Oz, and we'll sing along with the movie on a giant screen when it gets dark.

The fun begins at 4 p.m. We'll be surveying the crowd for the best costumes. Don't be surprised if we call up all the Dorothys, all the Scarecrows, etc. for group photos on the stage. Then we'll pick our overall choice for best Wizard of Oz costume to receive a special prize. Want to know what it is? You'll have to show up to find out!
