Big crowd enjoys Boys & Girls Club Family Night

The Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley hosted its largest family night to date on Sept. 29. The event drew in over 400 people from the community for a night of fun for adults and kids.

Family Night “Day for Kids” was one of the 10 events held in collaboration with the City of Menifee for the City’s 10-year anniversary celebration. There were opportunities for all to get involved that included paintball battles, reptile shows, paint night parties, face painting, and more.

America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses provided free eye exams for Club members and will provide free glasses and follow up for those youth members who need it. Over 20 vendors participated in the event and the Menifee Lions Club made over 180 free funnel cakes that night.

Mayor Bill Zimmerman and the rest of the Boys & Girls Club of Menifee Valley Board of Directors barbequed 180 free hot dogs for families as well. The night was also full of entertainment with youth performers and professional skateboarders including Gale Webb. The BGCMV hosts multiple Family Nights every year and loves seeing the community come out for a night of fun for everyone.
