Auditions open for Arts Council murder mystery show

Arts Council Menifee will hold auditions for its next production -- “Masked for Murder”, a murder mystery dinner -- Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Kay Ceniceros Center North Annex, 29995 Evans Road, corner of Newport and Evans Roads, Menifee.

There are roles for three males and five females, ranging in age from 30-80. To go with the Mardi Gras theme, there are roles for a magician, saxophone player, mime, and “voodoo queen”.

“Actors learn their characters rather than learn lines so that they can interact with each other and the dinner guests to unfold the plot,” said Linda Denver, Director and Theater Arts Division Chair of Arts Council Menifee.

The dinner performance will be held on March 2, 2019 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30. More information will be available at artscouncilmenifee.org.
