A sea of clouds from the top of a hill in Menifee

We usually only post very recent photos that are submitted to us, but this one intrigued us. It was taken about 6 a.m. one day in February 2017 by Patrick Hall, who loves on a hill at the south end of Pleasant Valley Road, south of Holland Road and west of Haun Road. It's a rural area, a bit removed from housing tracts, and Patrick says "the view is amazing from up there."

On this particular day, however, a low cloud bank shrouded the area and only Patrick's hill seemed to rise above it. Looking past his 1947 Dodge truck to the northeast, all he could see what white. "I felt like I could walk across the top of Menifee on the clouds," he recalled.
