We apologize for delivering to only our paid subscribers and not hitting all our free business distribution points on time with the Sept. 1 newspaper. The newspapers have now been delivered. We sure heard from a lot of businesses who said people were in on the first of the month, asking where their newspaper was!
This issue has lot of fun stories and photos, including:
-- A member of the Mighty Menifee Special Olympics bowling team won a gold medal with an amazing three-game total of 727.
-- Menifee resident, Vietnam veteran and rodeo star Lynn Mattocks is being inducted into the Military Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame.
-- Another two-page spread of Menifee kids at play, featuring some great shots of children in youth sports leagues, ballet and dance, martial arts and much more. Check it out to see if your child is pictured!
-- High school sports highlights.
-- Cub Scouts race their sailboats in the annual "Raingutter Regatta".
-- A young singer is named Artist of the Month by Arts Council Menifee.
