Groundbreaking for Scott Road interchange rescheduled

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Scott Road Interchange, originally scheduled for Sept. 19, has been rescheduled to Oct. 11. Details in the flier below.

According to an announcement by city officials, the date was changed so the ceremony wouldn't fall on Yom Kippur. "We want to make sure that we are being inclusive of all religions as possible, so that everyone may be able to attend," the announcement stated.

Also according to the announcement, the groundbreaking change "does not change the construction start date for the project in any way." That construction start date has not been announced.
