Renovations completed, Sun City Library re-opens

The official Grand Re-Opening won't be held for weeks, but the Sun City Library opened its doors Monday after a renovation project of more than five months.

The library received new flooring, new paint and reconstruction of the furniture and book stacks. There also is a new glass-enclosed Children's Library across from the main desk. The library was busy on its first day Monday and continues to be one of the busiest libraries in Riverside County.

The Grand Re-Opening will be held Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. Members of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and County Library System will be in attendance. For information about the library, call 951-679-3534.
