Blaze installed as president of Rotary Club of Menifee

New Rotary Club of Menifee President Stu Blaze received the gavel of office from Past President Dr. Steve Kennedy at the club’s installation recently.

Other officers installed were President-Elect Debbi Manion, Secretary Linda Denver, Treasurer Dawn Smith, Membership Rachel Sherman, The Rotary Foundation Chair Tom Yuzer, Public Relations Chair Anna Stirling, and International Chair Dennis Martin.

Plans are underway for the club’s major fundraiser, the 11th Annual Menifee Mayor’s Ball, to be held on Friday, Oct. 5. Funds help the club purchase books for elementary schools, support scholarships, and provide toys for a children’s clinic in Ensenada, as well as other projects.

The club meets on Thursdays at noon at Archibald’s Restaurant, 28881 Newport Road.
