MJSC Jazz Ensemble to play at 'Music by Pond' July 13

Arts Council Menifee will sponsor a free "Music by the Pond" concert for the next six Fridays, starting July 13.

The events will place from 7-9 p.m. near the pond between Starbucks and Chipotle in Countryside Marketplace. Scheduled entertainers at the July 13 event are members of the Mt. Jacinto College Jazz Ensemble. Under the direction of Music Department Chair John Tribelhorn, the ensemble features trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, flutes, piano, bass guitar, and drums. They play many styles of music, including big band, jazz, swing, Latin jazz and jazz/rock.
