A Menifee woman died Tuesday night in a head-on traffic collision in Winchester, authorities said.
The Coroner's Office identified the victim as Lorraine Johansen, 82. She died at the scene of the accident a half-mile east of Patterson Avenue. According to a County Fire Department news release, a second patient was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The accident occurred at 8:56 p.m.
