Construction underway for Baron's, others in Lakes Plaza

Story updated to add the latest signed tenant, Firehouse Subs.

Construction on the second phase of the Menifee Lakes Plaza is well underway, with a main building and smaller structures being prepared to house several new businesses in the coming months.

The plaza is located at the northwest corner of Newport Road and Antelope Road and already consists of an LA Fitness health club, a Chevron gas station and car wash. The section between those structures was vacant land for months but is now a hub of activity.

Businesses committed to be housed in those buildings are:

Jamba Juice
Waba Grill
Kahoots
Tuesday Morning
Café Rio
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Blaze Pizza
Firehouse Subs

Opening dates for these businesses have not been announced.

A key addition to the plaza lineup was the announcement in January 2017 of a commitment with Baron’s Market, which is well-known for its wide selection of natural and specialty foods, organic products, craft beers, local produce and self-serve salad bars.
