Menifee 24/7 honors area high school athletes for their accomplishments. Coaches of each sport are invited to submit one athlete per week for recognition. Here is this week's honoree from Paloma Valley High School:
Tennis doubles player David Vidrio is a freshman with a 4.0 GPA. In addition to his academic and athlete success, he plays an instrument in the Wildcat marching band. "Whenever any coach tells David something, David always responds with 'Yes, Coach.' said his coach, Reagan Williams. "David is one of the hardest working players on the team and a very determined young man."
Senior Haile Pullum is the league leader in the long jump with a leap of 16-11.5. She recently set a personal record in the triple jump of 32-7.5.
