Menifee 24/7 honors area high school athletes for their accomplishments. Coaches of each sport are invited to submit one athlete per week for recognition. Here is this week's honoree from Paloma Valley High School:
Tennis player Anthony Madrazo had a 15-0 record in singles play after matches against Heritage and Temescal Canyon last week. He was also tied for the league lead in singles games won.
"Anthony, also a captain on the team, has shown a quiet and determined leadership ability as he has overcome the challenges of each Sunbelt League opponent he has faced," said coach Reagan Williams. "Anthony really enjoys tennis and his big smile is glowing each time he takes the court."
