Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: April 3

Menifee 24/7 honors area high school athletes for their accomplishments. Coaches of each sport are invited to submit one athlete per week for recognition. Here are this week's honorees from Heritage High School:

Track athlete James Philips ran a 10.96 in the 100 meters in a recent meet. He is the second male sprinter to go under 11 seconds in the history of the school.

Christian Contreras set a school record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:51 for the boys swim team. Katelyn Thomas and Jenna Lee Taylor were honored for their performances against Elsinore for the girls swim team.
