Baby hummingbirds getting ready to leave the nest

This great closeup of baby hummingbirds in the nest was taken in the back yard of Larry Dirgo.

"This is our first hummingbird nest of the season," Dirgo wrote. "The baby hummers are testing out their wings more and more in preparation for flight. In the next few days, these little guys will soon fly away as real adult hummingbirds."
