The staff of Menifee 24/7 is proud to announce that our first mid-month newspaper is now available in local businesses and has been distributed to our subscribers.

As we announced at the start of April, the Menifee 24/7 Print Edition is now published twice per month. The special rate for home delivery for a year is $18. Take advantage of that offer before the annual rate increases to $25 on May 1. You may subscribe by clicking on the Print Edition of our website or by sending a check for $18 to Menifee 24/7, 28313 Parkdale Lane, Menifee CA 92584.

In our April 15 edition you will find, among other things:

-- An exclusive interview with the Sheriff's deputy and sergeant assigned to crime prevention in Menifee. How are they being proactive in stopping crime and how are they dealing with the homeless population? We'll answer those questions.

-- An exclusive interview with Master Sgt. Frank Puebla about the Paloma Valley High School NJROTC Battalion's performance in the Nationals, in which they took second place.

-- An article and cool photo illustration by Bill Zimmerman of the Menifee Valley Historical Association with updates about the latest historical monuments placed around town.

-- Doug Spoon's column, asking officials of Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District and the City of Menifee to put their differences aside long enough to bring back the Soap Box Derby.

-- An announcement of Mt. San Jacinto College's purchase of additional buildings in Temecula as part of its expansion.

-- A picture page highlighting performances in the annual "Menifee's Got Talent" event.

-- The debut of Menifee resident Rosalia Ulibarri's "Fashion Facts" column.

That's twice the news coverage for the same subscription price through April 30 -- or pick up a free copy at local businesses. We are committed to providing the kind of news coverage our readers deserve!

Thank you so much for this. A lot of kids don't obey any traffic laws and think they own the right of way when ridding. They definitely need to be educated on rules of the road.
