Suspects escape with cash in robbery of am-pm minimart

Police are seeking information on two suspects who robbed an am-pm minimart in Menifee Tuesday night and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight, said Sheriff's Deputy Mike Vasquez. Two males, believed to be white, entered the location at the Arco gas station at the corner of Highway 74 and Menifee Road. They wore ski masks and were armed with a bat and a knife.

The suspects have not been apprehended. Anyone with information should call the Perris Sheriff's Station at 951-210-1000.
