Paloma Valley soccer, basketball teams lose in playoffs

The Paloma Valley High School boys soccer team lost its first-round home CIF playoff game to Hesperia, 2-0, Friday afternoon. The Wildcats finished the season with a 13-3-4.

In other action, the Paloma Valley boys basketball team lost its second-round playoff game at AB Miller, 70-68. The Wildcats, who tied for the Sunbelt League championship, finished the season with a 22-7 record.

In a Div. 5AA boys basketball playoff game, Santa Rosa Academy lost to Nogales, 67-58.
