Three Menifee residents were arrested Tuesday on drug charges after a traffic stop and subsequent search of a home a few blocks away, police reported on Friday.
Officers with the Menifee Special Enforcement Team conducted the traffic stop about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Newport Drive and Westlink Drive, according to authorities. All three occupants of the vehicle were found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. They were identified as Victoria Madrigal, 52; Erika Fletchall, 29; and Travis Schulz, 25.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Madrigal's residence in the 29000 block of St. Andrews Drive. During a search of the home that night, they located additional methamphetamine, cocaine, other drug items and seven firearms.
All three suspects were booked for possession of controlled substances. Madrigal and Fletchall were cited and released the same day. Schulz was cited and released on Wednesday. Each has a court date of Feb. 28 at the Riverside Hall of Justice, according to jail records.
Records show that Madrigal was booked on the same charges Nov. 17, 2017. She was cited and released the same day in that case as well.
