Updated story corrects location of accident:
A man died Monday when his vehicle skidded out of control and crashed into a big rig truck on Highway 74 south of Perris, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 11:25 a.m. just south of the intersection of Ethanac Road and Highway 74, southwest of the Orange Empire Rail Museum. The driver of a Honda Accord was traveling southwest on Highway 74 at about 70 mph when his vehicle drifted onto the dirt right shoulder. When the driver over-corrected, the vehicle fishtailed and crashed into a big rig heading northeast.

The truck driver, 48-year-old Terry Rosso of Yuma, Arizona, was not injured. A Sig Alert was issued for all lanes of Highway 74 before the scene was cleared at about 2:30 p.m.
