The City of Menifee will hold a special meeting Nov. 28 to solicit input from the general public and public agencies about the scope necessary for an environmental impact report regarding a proposed 58-acre development of residential and commercial structures.
The Mill Creek Promenade is designed as a development of five planning areas to be constructed in an open field south of Garbani Road, west of Haun Road and east of Sherman Road. The project would include single-family homes, open space, commercial/retail space, offices, restaurant space and industrial development, according to a news release from the City.
The project site is part of the City's Economic Development Corridor Southern Gateway district, which plans for mixed use on the west side of the 215 Freeway, including a business park style of development. As the lead agency, the City of Menifee is soliciting input from the public before the EIR is prepared.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall. Copies of the project description are available for public review at City Hall. Written comments may be submitted by 5 p.m. on Dec. 14 to Manny Baeza, senior planner, City of Menifee, 29714 Haun Road, Menifee CA 92586.
